Heal The World lyrics

little girl talking

(I think about the generations
and they say they want to make it
a better place for our children and our children's children
so that they they they know it's a better world for them
and I think they can make it a better place)

There's A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need
To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
There's No Hurt Or Sorrow

Cuz There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We'll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

You And For Me

You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
heal the world we live in
You And For Me
save it for our children
You And For Me
heal the world we live in
You And For Me
save it for our children
You And For Me
heal the world we live in
You And For Me
save it for our children
You And For Me
heal the world we live in
You And For Me
save it for our children

Assalammu`alaikum Wr.Wb
Good…
The honorable council of juries
The honorable committees of this competition

ladies and gentlemen
first of all, i would like to express my sincere gratitude to Allah SWT who gives me health and opportunity, so that i can be in this room to join this speech contest. Then, I would like to send my best regard to our prophet Muhammad SAW who brought us from the darkness to the brightness era like we feel now.
ladies and gentlemen
my name`s joko dwi santoso, i`m from computer engineering of computer science faculty in sriwijaya university. In this opportunity, i would like to talk about the role of youth in developing nation entitled “youth and its relation between science and technology”

okay the audiences
We should avoid the bad message in our life as a youth citizen of our country especially from science and technology. So i believe that my speech is important to be acknowledged by all of the citizen to make our nation will be improved as the way of our development. Development is the part of efforts to bring our generation to the nation direction. In this efforts, as we know that it has been instructed by our opening constitution, that`s 1945 constitution, and it has been explicited in its amendment, on 31st section and 5th clause that`s "goverment drummed up science and technology with supporting religion marks and nation coalescence for culture advancement along with mankind prosperity". young participation can streamline development process even it can anticipate bad effect which will appear. It`s an activity which`s so exhausting, because society doesn`t know the measurement of their participation and influences. But, it will be changed, if it`s designated to the young generation.
In this era, technology can bring our education to the better one. Almost all of educational have relation with technology. Start from the simple one, such as website or weblog which carry science theme with its ornate. All of them are studied there. For example, http://www.e-smartschool.com/ , http://www.e-dukasi.net, etc. They`re consistently carrying education as their theme.
And part of citizen that mostly engaged with technology is the young generation. But, now almost of technology advancement is just used by our young generation as a means to make a cyber relationship, look for a couple or romance, etc. Although many websites or weblogs actually can support them to be better, start from education, religion, etc. Now, our generations are engaged and idolizing social networking website like, facebook, friendster, etc. It`s not big problem if they can manage their time. But now, in reality, they always use them to spend most of their time, even though most of them must do their assignment in this time as a student, collage student, etc. For the other example, many students use their laptop to get hot spot as free internet just for using social networking websites.
In long term, the social networking website can make our generation will be lazy to do something such as, they always update their status there and online all the time. Eventually they will be like spoiled child that always request all of the thing with the other people around them when they`re online or facebooking. So, they can`t stand alone and being a dependent with other people.
Our young generation has been mesmerized by technology. But, it`s not in a good way. So, one of the solution is `use this moment to change this trend`. It`s mean that we should use our young generation interest to technology to make them interested in education technology too. May be, it`s can started from a simple step, like our young generation should be introduced more about education theme technology. Such as, seminar event, contest to make education blog, contest to give comment to the education blog, and the other one which can show that educational theme technology is not ancient. So, education theme technology will have place in our young generation.
Believe that when our generation has effectively and efficiently used education technology, they will make our nation improved.
Okay, the audiences
Last but not the least, I would like to close my speech with a wise word saying “youth is a nation backbone who will support the future of a nation”. So, as a youth we should work hard to build our nation, science and technology are the ways to achieve it.
That`s all my speech for today,
See you again next time and wassalamu`alaikum Wr. Wb

first speech in academy

4 days again, i`ll start to speak english in front of many people again...
this`s my draft....
for you who has read it....
if you can make it be better,
hope you can send me message......

Tak mau lagi kesedihan

Semua orang ingin bahagia
Menjalani hidup di dunia ini
Ingin kubukakan jawaban
Misteri dan senang yg sejati

leaving on the jet plane

Ah-ah-ah-ahhh
Ah-ah-ah-ahhh

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go.
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say Goodbye

But the dawn is breaking it's early morn
The taxi's waiting he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die

CHORUS
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
'cause I'm leaving on a Jet Plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

Ah-ah-ah-ahhh

There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now they don't mean a thing

Everyplace I go I'll think of you
Every song I sing I'll sing for you
When I come back I'll wear your wedding ring

CHORUS

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time let me kiss you
Then close your eyes and I'll be on my way

Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave you alone
About the times that I won't have to say

CHORUS

I'm leaving on a Jet Plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go.

(And I'm) Leaving on a jetplane (repeat)

Beritakan Pada kaWan

Perjalanan ini
Trasa sangat menyedihkan
Sayang engkau tak duduk
Disampingku kawan

Banyak cerita
Yang mestinya kau saksikan
Di tanah kering bebatuan

Tubuhku terguncang
Dihempas batu jalanan
Hati tergetar menatap
kering rerumputan

Perjalanan ini pun
Seperti jadi saksi
Gembala kecil
Menangis sedih ...

Reff#

Kawan coba dengar apa jawabnya
Ketika di kutanya mengapa
Bapak ibunya tlah lama mati
Ditelan bencana tanah ini

Sesampainya di laut
Kukabarkan semuanya
Kepada karang kepada ombak
Kepada matahari

Tetapi semua diam
Tetapi semua bisu
Tinggal aku sendiri
Terpaku menatap langit

Barangkali di sana
ada jawabnya
Mengapa di tanahku terjadi bencana

Mungkin Tuhan mulai bosan
Melihat tingkah kita
Yang selalu salah dan bangga
dengan dosa-dosa
Atau alam mulai enggan
Bersahabat dengan kita
Coba kita bertanya pada
Rumput yang bergoyang

NUanSA BeniNg
oh tiada yang hebat dan mempesona

ketika kau lewat di hadapanku

biasa saja

waktu perkenalan terjalin sudah

ada yang menarik pancaran diri

terus mengganggu

mendengar cerita sehari-hari

yang wajar tapi tetap mengasyikkan

oh tiada kejutan pesona diri

pertama kujabat jemari tanganmu

biasa saja

masa perkenalan lewatlah sudah

ada yang menarik bayang-bayangmu

tak mau pergi

dirimu nuansa-nuansa ilham

hamparan laut tiada bertepi

kini terasa sungguh

semakin engkau jauh

semakin terasa dekat

akan tumbuh kembangkan

kasih yang kau tanam

di dalam hatiku

menatap nuansa-nuansa bening

jelasnya doa bercita

through her eyes(indonesia)

dia sungguh tidak pernah mempunyai sebuah kesempatan
di malam terang bulan amat penting itu
pengorbanan tanpa perkelahian
seorang korban dari keadaan sekitarnya

sekarang aku telah menjadi sadar
dan aku telah mengespos kejadian ini
sebuah kesedihan tumbuh di samping ku
ini semua kelihatan sangat tidak wajar

aku sedang mempelajari semua tentang hidupku
dengan melihat seluruh matanya

terlalu banyak gerbang halaman gereja
dimana rumput tumbuh berlebihan
aku melihat tulisan di batu nya
aku merasa seperti aku akan sesak napas

kenangan yang terliputi dari anak kami
sangat tidak bersalah, mata terbuka lebar
aku merasa sangat kosong hingga aku menangis
seperti bagian dari ku yang telah mati

aku sedang mempelajari semua tentang hidupku
dengan melihat seluruh matanya

dan karena gambarnya
mengembara ke kepalaku
aku menangis hingga seperti bayi
hingga aku terbangun dari tempat tidur

dan aku tahu seperti apa ini
menghilangkan seseorang yang kau cintai
dan ini terasa hampir sama

dia tidak diberikan banyak kesempatan
suaranya terdiam kehilangan harapan

melihat seluruh matanya

dream teater

Through Her Eyes
Dream Theater

She never really had a chance
On that fateful moonlit night
Sacrificed without a fight
A victim of her circumstance

Now that I've become aware
And I've exposed this tragedy
A sadness grows inside of me
It all seems so unfair

I'm learning all about my life
By looking through her eyes

Just beyond the churchyard gates
Where the grass is overgrown
I saw the writing on her stone
I felt like I would suffocate

Inloving memory of our child
So innocent, eyes open wide
I felt so empty as I cried
Like part of me had died

I'm learning all about my life
By looking through her eyes

And as her image
Wandered through my head
I wept just like a baby
As I lay awake in bed

And I know what it's like
To lose someone you love
And this felt just the same

She wasn't given any choice
Desperation stole her voice
I've been given so much more in life
I've got a son, I've got a wife

I had to suffer one last time
To grieve for her and say goodbye
Relive the anguish of my past
To find out who I was at last

The door has opened wide
I'm turning with the tide
Looking through her eyes

gaza

We will not go down (Song for Gaza)
Lyrics:

A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive

They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight

We will not go down
In Gaza tonight
